Cultures Community Interest Company is a Cultural Awareness, Diversity Training and Consultancy enterprise operating in the Northeast of England.
The company is based in Stockton-on-Tees (Tees Valley) and it aims to advance economic, social and cultural integration practices for disadvantaged BME, Refugee and Immigrant communities in the Northeast.
We enable our users to effectively integrate into society by helping them to access appropriate services, rights, entitlements and opportunities and overcome the barriers that hinder employment and training in a new environment.
We also provide cultural awareness training for organisations and individuals to help service providers deliver effective and efficient services to client.

Our Approach
- Empowering people from refugee and minority ethic communities by developing their participation and confidence to enable them to adapt to the UK society and contribute to economic and social life of the communities where they live.
- Interviewing clients and advising on employment, training, educational and related issues, job search and action planning;
- Working with clients via in-depth interviews by appointment, brief contact on a drop-in basis, over the telephone or by e-mail;
- Referring clients to appropriate providers, e.g. for employment, further education and training;
- Designing and delivering cultural awareness, careers education sessions, presentations, workshops, group sessions or short courses.
